Bio
I joined the DESC Lab because I am interested in learning more about how a child's development can be impacted by their relationships and environment. Throughout my time at the lab, I have worked on the Gift Delay team, California Babies Project (CBP), and the PACT study. Part of this work included a presentation with another research assistant, using CBP data, at the Undergraduate Research Scholarship and Creative Activities Conference. I have had the opportunity to learn more about the different stages of development, what can impact self-regulation, and how to conduct ethical, psychologically framed research. I am grateful for my experiences in this lab as I am pursuing a career in medicine to support neurodiverse children.
