Lauren Yen

I joined this lab because I was really interested in child behavior and their interactions with others. The summer before I joined this lab I traveled with my high school to China to teach kids English while they taught us Mandarin. I also interned at the UCDMC PICU running their playroom, and enjoyed every minute of it. Although I plan on applying to veterinary school in the future, being in this lab has taught me valuable research and interpersonal skills, and I’m also so thankful to have met and befriended the lab members here.
